The Shagbag Show has been on the air since 2002. The one-hour show morphed out of a 5-minute golf tip segment-type show that ran from 1998-2003 on KOCN, and then KION. (featuring David Marzetti and Neil Allen, Head Pro at Del Monte golf course) And, now it's on 1240am/95.9fm KMBY!

During the first year, show host David Marzetti originally broadcast the Shagbag Show by himself from the KION studios in Salinas. His guests were put on-air via telephone.

Having done hundreds of "live" remote broadcasts from various locations made David think that it would be exciting to take the show on the road. After talking it over with Neil Allen, they both decided that it would be a fun idea to give the show a permanent home at the Del Monte golf course grille.

And that's where it's been ever since!
